Classic Blonde

shadow-root-formula

Keep things ultra-light and bright this summer with a classic butter hue. To recreate this look:

@_mrszarate formula:

My process was a very precise microfoil high/lowlight to correct a balayage mishap she had elsewhere. I also painted Oway Hbleach Butter Cream Lightener between her foils on the ends of her hair.

Low light: 30g Oway Hcolor 7.0 Natural Blonde + 10g Oway Hcolor 7.31 Beige Blonde + Oway Htone 9 Volume Cream Developer

Toner: At the roots and below the occipital: 20g Oway Hcolor 9.1 Ash Very Light Blonde + Oway Htone 9 Volume Cream Developer

On the ends: 25g Oway Hcolor 11.17 Frosted Platinum + 25g Oway Hcolor 90.2 Irisee Super Bleaching Blonde + Oway Htone 9 Volume Cream Developer

Dimensional Blonde

For a bronde blend that perfectly mixes with a client’s natural brown locks, try the formula below:

@hairwithcurlyc formula:

I used Oway Hcolor 5.0 Natural Light Brown, Oway Hcolor 6.3 Golden Dark Blonde and Oway Hcatalyst 20 Volume Cream Developer on her roots

I painted on highlights curlayage style.

Then toned with Oway Hcolor 9.0 Natural Very Light Blonde, Oway Hcolor 10.3 Golden Extra Light Blonde, Oway Hcolor 11.17 Frosted Platinum and Oway Htone 9 Volume Cream Developer.

Honeycomb Blonde

This perfectly honey-toned balayage makes us wish summer never ended. To create the shade that will make summer last all year long:

@patrice_bowie formula:

First I used the O&M Ammonia-Free Keratin Blue Powder Lightener to lift the hair to a level 9 and then used O&M CØR.color Apricot Toner to tone and finally O&M CØR.color 10.16 Lightest Ash Violet Blonde.

Golden Hour Blonde

We love this color that seems to mimic the tones of the sunset on a summer night. To get this lovely golden shade:

 @styledbychelseaxo formula:

I used Oway Hbleach Butter Cream Lightener and Oway Hcatalyst 30 Volume Cream Developer to balayage her and then I went in and toned her with O&M CØR.color 9.13 Cool Beige Very Light Blonde with double O&M CØR.color 5 vol Activator  and about .5 of O&M CØR.color Platinum Toner.

Au Natural

Is that her natural color? Are her highlights kissed from the sun? For clients who want that ‘no color’ color, try the formula below:

@b.wolfe.hair formula:

I foiled babylights with O&M Ammonia-Free Keratin Blue Powder Lightener around the hairline to achieve that beautiful pop of blonde in the front then did a Mohawk section of babylights, broken up into two side-by-side bricklay sections to cover a wider section since she flips her hair to both sides. Processed, rinsed and toned with O&M CØR.color 9.3 Very Light Golden Blonde + O&M CØR.color 9.0 Very Light Blonde with O&M CØR.color 3.5 vol Activator for 18 minutes.

Blown out with Oway Bio-Rich Water, Oway Glossy Nectar + curled with a 1 1/4” barrel and finished with a spritz of Oway Sea Salt Spray at the very end for a little texture.

All Out Platinum

We all know the client who wants to go big or go home. Recreate this platinum that is sure to stand out using the formula below.

@ritualbyliz formula:

This babe came to get her hair done for her 18th birthday with a natural level 7/8 and wanted a very seamless blonde that will look natural and blended. So I started our process by separating her hair into five sections to do a mixture of foiled highlights and achieve the blended look she wanted. I used Oway Hbleach Butter Cream Lightener and Oway Hcatalyst 20 Volume Cream Developer (making sure each section processed for 20 min). After, I began the root shadow by mixing O&M CØR.color 7.0 Blonde and O&M CØR.color 8.16 Light Ash Violet Blonde and O&M CØR.color 10 vol Activator. For the mid section I applied O&M CØR.color 9.8 Very Light Pearl Blonde and O&M CØR.color 10.16 Lightest Ash Violet Blonde with O&M CØR.color 10 vol Activator with a bit O&M CØR.color 5 vol Activator (making sure I marry the melted roots with the mid section).

Lastly for the ends I used O&M CØR.color 10.16 Lightest Ash Violet Blonde mixed with O&M CØR.color 10 vol Activator. Let it process for 10-15 more minutes and wash.
