On May 7, all eyes were on the Met Gala 2018 celebrity arrivals to see who nailed this year’s theme: “Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination”. But while everyone was busy critiquing the fashion, we were carefully studying their hairdo’s in the hopes of recreating them in our salons. Because, hey, you’ll never know when our clients will need them, right?

Amanda Seyfried
Color
To create this color, use O&M Ammonia Free Keratin Powder Lightener and O&M CØR.color 20 vol Activator and do a full head of foils, taking fine sections but allowing her natural base color to show for a soft natural look. Then process for 50 minutes, shampoo and condition before toning with O&M CØR.color 10.03 Lightest Beige Blonde and O&M CØR.color 5 vol Activator. After processing for 20 minutes, rinse and condition with O&M Maintain the Mane Conditioner.
Style
Place O&M Know Knott Detangling Spray into damp hair then dry about 80% of the moisture out.
Next, layer O&M Rootalicious Root Lift Spray (to give weightless volume and fullness) into the hair and continue to dry using a brush to smooth ends but not straighten or remove volume. Spray small sections and wrap around a curling iron. Leave ends straight. Allow all sections to cool before brushing through to create a mermaid wave. Add tiara and mist with O&M Frizzy Logic Finishing Shine Spray.
Kate Bosworth
Color
Create a golden blonde with Oway Hcolor 8.0 Natural Light Blonde and Oway Hcolor 8.31 Beige Light Blonde equal parts on level 7 or lighter. Slightly comb some bleach pieces through to give some dimension. Tone if necessary with Oway Hcolor 9.0 Natural Very Light Blonde.
Style
Apply Oway Flux Potion all over and blow dry. Part the hair at the center then drag the fringe forward. Then create a finger wave or S-shape by going over the front pieces with a curling iron. Spray with Oway Sculpting Mist, then hold the fringe down with hair pins or tape. Comb the remaining hair smooth into a bun, twisting the hair into a spiral. Take the remaining pieces and smooth the ends with Oway Precious Wax and tuck in a woven pattern. Apply Sculpting Mist to hold everything in place and finish with a spritz of Oway Glamshine Cloud.
Blake Lively
Color
Do baby fine foils on her hair with O&M Ammonia Free Keratin Powder Lightener, then use 1/2 O&M CØR.color 10 vol Activator + 1/2 O&M CØR.color 20 vol Activator as activator to give only a subtle lift on her naturally light base. Tone with O&M CØR.color 9.8 Very Light Pearl Blonde with O&M CØR.color 5 vol Activator to give the color a polished elegant glow. Then, treat the hair with O&M The Power Base Protein Treatment to add strength to processed hair.
Style
Layer O&M Know Knott Detangling Spray and O&M Atonic Hair Thickening Spritz to remove 80% of the moisture, then place a mix of O&M Rootalicious Root Lift Spray and a few pumps of O&M Surf Bomb Sea Salt Texture Spray into the hair. Dry to 100% using your hands for added texture. Spray with Atonic to protect from heat. Then take large sections, wrap hair around a curling iron to create texture through roots and mid-lengths. Roughly shake out and twist hair into a high bun, sitting below crown. Pin to secure. Place a few drops of O&M Frizzy Logic Shine Serum onto hands then pass over the hair to create a soft texture and a halo of fine flyaway hairs. Then place hair jewelry around the bun, and secure.
Lily Collins
Color
Color regrowth to ends with Oway Hcolor 5.32 CDI Irisee Golden Light Brown. Then balayage the ends with Oway Hbleach Butter Cream Lightener and Oway Htone 9 Volume Cream Developer to create a slight contrast.
Style
Apply Oway Quick Glue on the regrowth through the ends. Slick the hair back into a ponytail. Create several little braids and wrap them around the main ponytail. Secure to the base of the nape leaving some of the braids out and tucking the ends into a hair accessory. Create some loops with the remaining braided hair.
Gigi Hadid
Color
Use the O&M CØR.color 6.8 Dark Pearl Blonde and O&M CØR.color 5 vol Activator as semi to deposit color at the roots then melt through some of the mid lengths. As this processes, use the O&M Paint Powder Clay Lightener with O&M CØR.color 40 vol Activator on a few sections and paint to add extra dimension and reflect. Process for 20 minutes. Shampoo with O&M Original Detox Shampoo and condition with O&M Fine Intellect Conditioner before applying a gloss of O&M CØR.color 0.00 Clear and O&M CØR.color 5 vol Activator onto damp hair. Let sit for 20 minutes.
Style
Dry hair with O&M Know Knott Detangling Spray until 80% dry. Then, use O&M Rootalicious Root Lift Spray from roots to ends. Massage through with fingertips, then with the O&M Volume Curve Hair Brush, smooth and roll hair to create a voluminous blowout. You can pin-roll sections onto hair to let it cool while you finish blowing dry. Then part in middle, and back-comb crown. Smooth sides with a small-toothed comb, and secure with large bobby pins in a gold tone. Set style with O&M Original Queenie Firm Hold Hair Spray to lock the hair style.
Jasmine Sanders
Color
Apply Oway Hcolor 5.17 Light Frosted Brown on the regrowth to create a root melt. Balayage heavily with Oway Hbleach Butter Cream Lightener and tone with Oway Hcolor 9.1 Ash Very Light Blonde and Oway Htone 9 Volume Cream Developer.
Style
Apply Oway Flux Potion throughout and blow-dry sleek. Part the hair at the middle. Braid the hair starting at the nape, working all the way through. Then loosen the braid using your fingers, stretching the braid to open and create a boho effect.
Additional hair extensions can be added to adjust the thickness and the length. Secure the hairstyle by wrapping ribbons around various sections and pinning flowers or hair jewelry.
Kerry Washington
Color
Use the O&M CØR.color 4.75 Chocolate Brown with O&M CØR.color 5 vol Activator as a semi-permanent onto dry hair. This will give a rich glow and seal the hair, preventing frizz while styling. Treat the hair with O&M Seven Day Miracle Moisture Masque to give it a shot of extra moisture. This can be used as an extra nourishing conditioner as well.
Style
Use O&M Know Knott Detangling Spray to take 80% of moisture out of hair. Then place O&M Rootalicious Root Lift Spray and O&M Frizzy Logic Shine Serum onto hair and continue to dry and smooth out. Layer dry hair with O&M Atonic Hair Thickening Spritz. Using a curling iron, take 1 inch sections and wrap from roots to ends. Allow all sections to cool, then use a small tooth basin comb and brush each section out to create volume and tight curls. The more you comb, the more volume you get. Finally, mist the hair with O&M Frizzy Logic Finishing Shine Spray to add nourishment and a glossy sheen. Then, add the hair clip and secure with dark bobby pins and fringe pins for extra support.

Create babylights throughout with Oway Hbleach Butter Cream Lightener and Oway Htone 9 Volume Cream Developer. Overlay 30g of Oway Hcolor 8.3 Golden Light Blonde with 5g of Oway Hcolor 9.43 Copper Golden Very Light Blonde from regrowth to ends.
Style
Apply Oway Smoothing Fluid from regrowth to ends and blow-dry sleek. Create a deep center part, then gather all the hair at the nape into a ponytail. Twist the ponytail to create a low, twisted chignon, weaving the tail end pieces in a bun. Add hair accessories for an interesting addition to the style.
