Hustle + Heart Salon was born out of both passion for beauty that goes beyond aesthetics and necessity. After years of working with traditional salon products, I began to experience health issues—everything from respiratory problems to skin irritations. I realized that the chemicals we were using daily were not only affecting me but my clients too. That’s when I knew something had to change. I wanted to create a space where we could still achieve stunning results without sacrificing our health. So, the focus on organic and holistic beauty became personal for me. It’s about providing beauty services that are safe, sustainable, and help everyone feel good, inside and out.

How do you educate your clients on the benefits of organic or holistic hair care?
We love showing our guests that clean beauty can be both chic and luxurious. It’s not just for those with a super earthy vibe—it’s for anyone who wants beautiful, healthy hair without the harsh chemicals. At Hustle + Heart, education is key. From the very first appointment, we explain the why behind everything we do, sharing how the clean, non-toxic products we use nourish your hair while being gentle on your body and the planet.

What’s your favorite clean beauty product(s) or product line that you offer, and why do you love it/them?
We’re obsessed with O&M’s CØR.color line. It’s truly a game-changer. Not only is it free from ammonia, PPD, and resorcinol, but it outperforms traditional hair color by a mile. The results are vibrant and long-lasting, and it’s safe for both the stylists and the guests. Plus, we’ve completely fallen in love with Aretè and their amazing range of styling products, shampoos, and conditioners. The best part? The smell is heavenly! It’s hard to find clean products that have a luxurious scent, but Aretè nails it every time, making it our go-to. These products allow us to create beautiful transformations while ensuring the health of both our clients and the planet.
